Nola’s mom is also from Ohio where willow trees thrive. She saw one of my small willow trees pieces and was reminded of home.
Soon after she decided that she wanted her very own version of that reminder to hang in her daughter’s room. She was also seeking a personal artwork done by a local artist to serve as an inspiration to Nola as she grows up. As an example that young women can do whatever they set their minds to. I was honored to be that inspiration and to be asked to create this piece for them both.
Done in the colors of her baby book, to coordinate with her nursery.
