A friend (and first collector of KatMariee paintings) used to live here in the lovely land of Portland. Alas, work, homesickness, life, love… what have you, pulled her back to the Midwest. While I am sure she is happy there and seemingly eating her way around the world via cupcakes, I thinks she still misses the Pacific Northwest. So when she contacted me to create a piece for her to complete her triad of my pieces, and she asked for grey, it was clear she needed a reminder of Portland.
